MEDICARE PART "A"
AND "B" EXPLAINED
MEDICARE
PART "A"
Part "A" covers the hospital room charges, all blood except the first
3 pints, and skilled nursing (if needed)
Benefits are payable after you meet the $1,100.00 deductible
This deductible must be met each time you are admitted unless you
are returning within 60 days for the same condition
Medicare part "A" is
provided at no charge to those who are elligible and can be "purchased"
by any one over 65 who may not be elligible
MEDICARE PART
"B"
Medicare part "B" covers
all other charges,
both in or out of the hospital
Part "B" has a $155.00 annual deductible
A premium is deducted from your Social Security check for part
"B"
